Bring On Summer!

I'm ready! Ready for what? Fresh fruits and veggies - I LOVE fruit stands! I'm ready to catch fish. I'm ready to get my tan on and soak up some vitamin D. I'm ready to cut my fresh sunflowers that we are growing, plant some beets and carrots, and eat some tomatoes that I planted from seeds. I'm so proud of myself! I though for sure they were doomed but they are, in fact, flowering and growing. I want to make some homemade salsa this year! And roast marshmallows at the fire pit and make S'mores! I think it's time for a S'more cupcake. What do you think?

What about you? What does summer mean to you and your family? Do you go on vacation somewhere, or float down rivers, or camp? Since the children are out of school, I'm sure it takes a little more planning and a little more patience. Don't worry! Enjoy your time together. It goes by quickly.

New items coming up: Hummingbird Cake, Caramel Cake, S'mores Cupcakes. MMMMM, I am thinking of a chocolatey filling and a toasted marshmallow top with Graham Cracker wedges. YES! We have classics, too, as you well know: Anything-But-Plain-Jane Cupcakes like Carrots O'Hares, Vanilla Vibes, and Lemon-Lime Goodness. I made some of these LLGs last week and was reminded of how DELISH they are. Sweet and just a little tart. Oh, yes, and I've finally decided on wedding cakes. Nothing extravagant, but pretty, delicious, and elegant. Stay tuned for those and the matching cupcakes. :)

Our little shop will be open in just a couple more weeks. I can't wait! I have pictures that I want to put on the wall and displays for goodies, and am looking forward to seeing you there if you get a chance!
